While there are a plethora of iconic TV bars to choose from, Redditor chipolthey opted for a more salacious establishment. Instead of choosing to recreate the Boston hangout of Cheers, which was featured in Fallout 4, or even Moe’s Tavern from The Simpsons, chipolthey recreated Paddy’s Pub from the FX sitcom It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Chipolthey captured the true feel of Paddy’s with all the Philadelphia trinkets.

There are many little details worth exploring in chipolthey’s recreation of the Gang’s bar, but one thing sticks out above them all. Behind the bar, there sits villager Sandy who has been a fixture in the franchise for the majority of games. This is a stand in for the Dee Reynolds, a character often mocked for what her brother, father and friends consider bird-like features. The top comment on the Reddit thread specifically mentions this with the often quoted “Shut up, Bird.”
While Animal Crossing: New Horizons creations often focus on video games and films, television shows have received love in the past. What New Horizons TV takes often come down to are recreations of iconic openings. One of the best ones came in last month when a player remade The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air opening in New Horizons. While It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s opening doesn’t translate well to a New Horizons make over, having Paddy’s Pub be remade is the next best thing.
Animal Crossing recreations are truly the gift that keeps on giving. While there are games that present a truly open sandbox like Minecraft, Animal Crossing: New Horizons is significantly more stringent in what players are able to do. Despite, what are much harder limitations Animal Crossing: New Horizons players are able to contort the island in special ways.
While New Horizon players are still busy working on unique and creative projects, they may want to start finishing up what they can. With July ending, there are many fish and insects that will no longer be catchable, so maybe take a break from the bar and rush out to finish the compendium.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available now on Nintendo Switch.
