The sheer amount of Disney and Pixar films out in the market seems to really serve as creative fodder for players of Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Either recreating recent films like Encanto, or taking inspiration from classic movies such as Beauty and the Beast or Hercules, fans show off just how flexible the video game can be. And with ACNH adding more items and features in the free update and paid DLC last November, it seems the sky’s the limit for players who really enjoy sharing their other fandoms within the game’s community.

Redditor TwentiesGirl_ showcased their love for the Incredibles 2 movie by posting a photo of their character in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. In the single photo, their character is seen donning the popular hairstyle and iconic black-rimmed glasses of Edna Mode. They even made their villager wear a kimono, to simulate the fashion designer’s red and black silk robe. Using clever camera angles, and a red Bloopoid, one of the Gyroids found in ACNH, the Redditor was successfully able to recreate the start of the very funny set of scenes between Jack-Jack and Edna from the 2nd movie.

TwentiesGirl_ noted in their caption that the Bloopoid looked very similar to the super baby’s head, which was why they could not resist making the scene. Replies in the thread showed that there are fellow Incredibles 2 fans in the community, and that the artist has their full support. Some even asked the Redditor if they had the code for the kimono they made their character wear. TwentiesGirl_ mentioned that a custom design code is not needed as it is one of the clothing items found in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

As Animal Crossing: New Horizons approaches its 2nd anniversary, Nintendo has yet to reveal anything to celebrate the occasion. Hopefully the active community will let their voices be heard, and encourage the development team to prepare something special for the festivities.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available for the Nintendo Switch.
