In the latest update to Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the game introduced Dream Addresses to the game. With this feature, players can create and share a code that allows other players to visit the island, even when the island’s player isn’t online. When visiting an island using this method, the island can’t be altered, so strangers can explore the island without the player having to worry.

One player is using his Dream Address to advertise and show off his own video game-themed island to the Animal Crossing community. The player took to Twitter with a trailer for their island, which has been designed in a special Legend of Zelda theme. Visitors to the island can see landmarks such as Ravio’s shop from A Link Between Worlds and the Lost Woods, where players can witness the Master Sword on its sacred pedestal.

Memorable characters from The Legend of Zelda can also be found while exploring the island, and the music even changes to fit the area of the island that the player is occupying. The island’s Dream Address is DA-9114-1462-2579, so anyone who would like to see is welcome to view the Zelda-themed island.

The island has received over 3,000 visitors using its Dream Address, and other islands have joined the video game theme hype trains in their own ways. There are many players who have recreated various video game locations like Pokemon Gold and Silver’s National Park or reenacted different scenes in video games, movies, or television shows. With the Dream mechanic becoming more popular, more islands such as these may begin to pop up in greater numbers.

With so many creative players involved in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the introduction of Dream Addresses into the game gives those gamers a chance to show off their design skills to the wider community. Hopefully, Nintendo will see how much players are enjoying this and give players new ways to create their ideal islands with other specific attention to different details.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available now for Nintendo Switch.
