TheTokuvian’s designs draw inspiration from some of the earlier Power Rangers series, including MMPR, In Space, Lost Galaxy, and Time Force. A couple of the shirts are based on Super Sentai series that have yet to be adapted for American audiences, such as Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger and Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger.

Unfortunately for Power Rangers and Super Sentai fans who want TheTokuivan’s shirts, they’ll have to make them themselves. TheTokuvian has evidently not progressed far enough in the game to be able to upload his Animal Crossing: New Horizons creations, which isn’t possible until players unlock Mabel and Sabel and their Able Sisters shop.
This is far from the first time fans have made Power Rangers creations for unrelated video games. Many video games with creation tools like this wind up with Power Rangers-inspired creations in one form or another, especially when the games allow for character creation. One of the more notable examples includes Soulcalibur 6’s White Ranger, which was created by a DeviantArt user named monkeygigabuster last year.
In the meantime, it will be interesting to see what other impressive creations Animal Crossing: New Horizons players manage to create using the game’s design tools. And as more players progress through Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ first week and start to unlock the ability to upload creations, it should be much easier for fans to find their favorite clothing designs. This way they won’t have to attempt to create the shirts by copying other players, and will simply be able to download the creations into their own game.
For those wanting to check out TheTokuvian’s Animal Crossing: New Horizons designs, here’s hoping he reaches that point sooner rather than later.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is out now, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
