Although she’s usually stuck in the resident services and isn’t seen wandering around, it’s cool to think about what kind of a life she would lead if she lived like regular villagers. So, which of the 300+ available villagers in Animal Crossing would Isabelle be friends or enemies with? Here are a few theories.
10 Friends: Mira
Mira is a yellow rabbit villager who has the sisterly personality type. She’s most famous for wearing a red superhero costume, as well as a mask. It makes her appear as a strong and independent person, with a conviction to help those around her no matter what. It also fits her protective sisterly personality.
Her need to help others is what would make her a great friend with Isabelle, who no doubt wants villagers to be helping and kind to one another. They would definitely see eye to eye.
9 Enemies: Roscoe
Generally, any cranky villagers will most likely not get along with Isabelle, but some crankies are worse than others. Roscoe, for instance, has that ominous dark appearance and red eyes that makes him the total opposite of Isabelle’s bright and bubbly personality.

Isabelle doesn’t like conflict in general, and she would much prefer people to be happy and peppy. It’s why Roscoe would probably not have the patience for her.
8 Friends: Fauna
The good thing about normal personality type villagers is that they’re the ultimate diplomats. They can effortlessly get along with any of the other personality types, which makes them easy villagers to deal with. As such, Isabelle has less work on her hands when dealing with them.
Fauna is one of the sweetest normal villagers, a light brown deer with an adorable appearance. Her sweetness would no doubt win over Isabelle’s heart.
7 Enemies: Elvis
Intense personalities often cause trouble, and Elvis is definitely the kind of person Isabelle wouldn’t want to deal with on an island. He’s a cranky villager, which means he loves complaining and being negative, which goes against Isabelle’s beliefs and attitude.
More importantly, however, Elvis is a lion and he dresses like a king, which could mean he’s pretty bossy. No one can say no to Isabelle, except maybe him, and that wouldn’t sit well with Isabelle herself.
6 Friends: Cheri
Since Isabelle most likely can’t deal with cranky villagers, it’s only normal she would feel at home with someone like Cheri, a peppy villager. Peppy villagers share the same clumsiness that Isabelle has, which makes them absolutely adorable and energetic.

With short attention spans and the ability to see the positive in everything, Cheri would make best friends with Isabelle, who loves to prattle on and on about star signs and crosswords.
5 Enemies: Curt
One look at Curt makes it pretty obvious that he’s just not having it, which goes against everything that Isabelle believes in about island life and living together. Curt is a cranky bear villager, and judging from his band-aid, loves getting into confrontations rather using his words.
Isabelle would probably get fed up with Curt’s negativity and brutish ways. On an island, one can imagine how much Isabelle would struggle to keep him in check.
4 Friends: Audie
Audie is another peppy villager. She’s a reddish-orange fox that gets super excited about even the smallest things, as is common for her personality type. Audie’s excitement over the mundane and always looking on the bright side is what makes her so compatible with Isabelle.
With peppy villagers like Audie often having an interest in becoming famous, Isabelle would find it easy to gush about her main crush K. K. Slider.
3 Enemies: Tiffany
Although many snooty villagers often consider Isabelle as the queen bee due to her incredible charms and charisma, it’s hard to see some of the snootiest and snobbiest villagers liking and respecting her. Tiffany, a snooty and very diva-looking white rabbit, for instance, looks like she would look down on Isabelle.

Because Isabelle is clumsier and less concerned with things like appearances and elegance, Tiffany would probably see her as someone below her and not worth her time.
2 Friends: Raymond
Even though Raymond has a smug personality, which can make him come across as somewhat arrogant, one look at the inside of his house reveals that he might have something surprising in common with Isabelle. Raymond lives in a home office, which might mean he’s a dedicated worker.
Isabelle is similarly interested in work as she spends most of her days at the resident services, so they both share a love for being productive. They come across pretty smart as well, and would probably be on the same wavelength.
1 Enemies: Ankha
Ankha is the ultimate superficial rich snooty villager. Just think about it: she has literal gold bars inside her house. She also constantly looks like she’s judging the world around her, making her a cool-looking villager but also incredibly capricious to deal with.
As already deduced, Isabelle would probably hate to deal with someone like her. Her snooty personality would clash too much with Isabelle’s girl-next-door charms.
