Following his victory over Tozawa on the recent episode of NXT, Lio Rush didn’t get the time to celebrate as Angel Garza attacked him backstage. The assault made it clear that Garza still has his sight set on the NXT Cruiserweight Championship. He went on to mention the Black-and-Gold brand’s General Manager William Regal and Triple H in his latest tweet and called them out for protecting Lio Rush.

Although Garza has been taking shots on Lio Rush since losing the match for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship, it seems the rematch is not far away from being officialized. Lio Rush also responded to the challenge and clarified that he’s ready to teach a lesson to Angel Garza once and for all.
